Adelaide Restaurants

Adelaide is regarded as the food and wine capital of Australia, with 50 per cent of all Australian wine produced here. It is also home to the National Wine Centre and numerous food and wine events.

Adelaide has more restaurants per head of population than any other major Australian city, over 70 pubs in the city centre and the largest fresh produce market in the Southern Hemisphere – the Adelaide Central Market.

The main eating areas include the central market, Chinatown, Gouger Street, Hindley Street (the West End), Hutt Street, Melbourne Street, O'Connell Street, and Rundle Street (the East End).

Whatever food you are looking for Adelaide has it, serving food from all over the world, you will not be disappointed because Adelaide has one of the best ranges of restaurants in Australia.

Adelaide has many great restaurant strips offering everything from top-class cuisine to reasonably priced café fare.
